Program Description
[INDOORS] Say goodnight to your favorite sea creatures as we virtually visit them after our aquarium closes. Get up close and personal, and learn about their habitats, behaviors, and conservation efforts. This virtual tour is led by Mote's knowledgeable and passionate guides who are excited to share their love of the ocean with you. They'll be available to answer any questions you may have and provide insight into the amazing creatures you'll see on the tour. So why wait? Book your virtual aquarium tour today and discover the magic of the underwater world from the comfort of your own home or school!

This tour is available between 5:30pm–7:30pm ET (after our aquarium closes). Please make your requests at least three weeks in advance.
Program Format
  1. This tour begins with an introduction and orientation using our aquarium visitor map (mote.org/pages/aquarium-visitor-map).
  2. Virtual tour of Mote Aquarium after closing, visiting our Creatures from the Coastal Oceans exhibits. You will see lionfish, eels, clownfish, corals, jellies, salamanders, octopus, and more. Follow along with your own virtual bingo card (bingobaker.com#38f93008dc223e97).
  3. Time is allowed for questions and answers.
  4. After your visit, go to Mote's Flip Discovery Library for more free resources (admin.flipgrid.com/discovery/partners/mote-marine-laboratory).
Objectives
  1. Students will gain a better understanding of the form & function of ocean animals.
  2. Students will be able to recall different habitats and ocean animal adaptations.
  3. Students will understand why Mote studies our oceans.
  4. Students will appreciate the biodiversity in our ocean and the importance of protecting them.
