We will start with discussion with the young people in the room and then we will do some exploration exercises to develop a key to self development. We will explore ideas that young people have about their lives and how we could put skills into place that will help create a more balanced life style. If this is a part of a series we will explore how famous people have got through real difficulties to success and how music and the arts can transform our lives. Most of all we will find`ways that we can develop the strands from this session into our curriculum and our lives and our life styles. We will see how diffiult it is to say "no" and how we need to find strategies to be our true selves.

Program Details

Format

We will start with a discussion about Well Being and what this means. We will learn about how the Tibeten monks used the Well Being theme to help create balance in their lives. We will do some exercises on voice skills and self esteem and discuss a diary we could keep to help implement change in our programmes for self development and social and personal development. We will then do some interactive exercises to develop skills for self esteem. We will gain some understanding of Global Citizenship as set out in the National Curriculum. We will look at difficulies such as eating diffulties,always being late.
