Did you know you need 3 important things in order to have your sense of sight? Come explore how light, your eyes, and your brain work together to help you see!

Learners will observe a dissection of a cow eye to learn about the part of the eye; discuss what light is and why you need it to see; and try some cool things your brain can do with the information that comes from your eyes!

2. What is light?
3. Parts of the eye and cow eye dissection demo
4. What your brain does with information from your eyes

Objectives

Participants will learn...
- what a person needs to have their sense of sight
- what each part of the eye does
- that light is energy and travels in waves
- what role the brain plays in their sense of sight
