[OUTDOORS] Go on a seashore safari without getting wet during our virtual excursion into Sarasota Bay. Live from atop our floating education platform, embark on a sightseeing adventure over mudflats, seagrass meadows, and mangrove trees. Uncover the challenges sea creatures face living between the tides and maybe wave to a scientist working alongside us on the docks. You never know what we will find when we explore the estuary together. From shark pups to grownups, this program is suitable for all ages.

Program Details

Format

This tour begins with an introduction and orientation using our Google Maps (goo.gl/maps/Smsza7p8YyLWzNGa9).

Virtual tour of Sarasota Bay estuary. Creatures we often see include pelicans, dolphins, manatees, conchs, seahorses, and crabs. We will examine different marine plants like seagrass, mangrove trees, and seaweeds. Follow along with your own virtual bingo card (https://bingobaker.com#d839a6191f08d3c2).
Time is allowed for questions and answers.
