Leading Edge Online and Blended Teacher National Certification Program (LEC)

This 10-week national online teacher certification course guides educators through rigorous and engaging curriculum based on the International Association for K–12 Online Learning (iNACOL) National Standards for Online Teaching. Upon successful completion, the certification gives schools, districts and other prospective employers assurance that Leading Edge certified online teachers not only have the skills to effectively facilitate blended and online courses, but also have a solid understanding of how to enhance the learning opportunities for all students enrolled in their courses.

In order to better prepare teachers and educational leaders for online and blended learning environments, the Leading Edge Alliance, a group of educational service agencies, universities, and non-profits developed this national certification program for K-12 teachers and instructional leaders. CILC is pleased to introduce a new agreement from South Central Service Cooperative, an Affiliate partner, to offer our members Leading Edge Certification (LEC). LEC is the first national certification programs of its kind and is both platform and vendor neutral.
