Charles Fadel, co-author of 21st Century Skills: Learning for Life in Our Times is back as he continues to explore 21st Century Skills and STEM-An Auspicious Convergence. This presentation will describe the latest thinking about the confluence of two critical education policies: 21st Century Skills and STEM. Join Charles as he explores the complementarity and congruences as well as implementation guidelines as proposed by NSTA (National Science Teachers Association) and NCTM (National Council of Teachers of Mathematics). In addition, we will explore the applicability of 21st Century Skills to the Arts via "STEAM" (STEM with the addition of the Arts in educational funding).
