Investigating Community Issues Related to New State Highway Route

Students and teachers from five schools explored the many options being considered for the I-69 proposed highway extension. Through this community collaboration, students and teachers use videoconferencing, internet connections, and other mixed technologies to conduct research and partner with architects, city planners, public relations specialists, and others. As a result, students form their own ideas and recommendations regarding issues. This project was a shared venture of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) and the Center for Interactive Learning and Collaboration (CILC).
