Teacher Feedback from Kids Creating Community Content (KC3) Contest:
“As a teacher I felt empowered by Bev's leadership in distance learning, and I have successfully entered students in the contest every year since its formation in 2008. The impact KC3 has had on my students' learning experiences is second to none in education.”
“The contest worked well and was very well organized, thanks to you!”
“Every time I asked, you responded ASAP. That's very helpful.”
“I never felt as if I was going through the motions without any help or anyone's willingness to listen. You always responded to any call or e-mail.”
Personal Award:
The winning project, KC3 (Kids Creating Community Content) was
sponsored by TANDBERG and the Center for Interactive Learning and
Collaboration (CILC) to challenge middle and high school teams to
develop and present an engaging and dynamic videoconferencing program
about their community. Each team researched and developed an
informational live videoconferencing program on a topic relevant to
their community. Their program was presented to another school and team
of judges.
