Magnolia Junior High is looking for four (4) eighth grade classes in Texas who are interested in taking part in an eight-week Short Answer Quiz Bowl, designed to prepare students for the 9th grade short answer writing portion of the TAKS test. These sessions will begin in January 2006 and run through the first week of April 2006. Each of the four schools will participate in two thirty minute lightning rounds with Magnolia Junior High (approximately 4 weeks apart) and then all four schools will join with Magnolia Junior High for an awards presentation announcing the top ten contestants from each school.
