In the past, students at Safford Middle School competed in the KC3 Videoconference competition. Although the competition lost its funding, our school has chosen to continue using class presentations.
Students have chosen Astronomy as their topic. Arizona’s environment is ideal for studying astronomy. Through an interactive presentation, students at Safford Middle School will share interesting information about our solar system, constellations, and some of Arizona’s space discoveries. Today’s astronomers continue to make exciting discoveries as well. Students will interact live with the cooperating class, presenting information and conducting hands on activities.
