Climate Change Project

The Eastchester Union Free School District is pleased to announce a special videoconference for high school students on the topic of climate change. On Tuesday, May 5, 2009 from 1:45-2:25pm EST, Dr. Stephen H. Schneider, professor in the Department of Biological Sciences, a Senior Fellow at the Center for Environment Science and Policy of the Institute for International Studies and Professor by Courtesy in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Stanford University will discuss the current status of climate change, followed by a round-robin question/answer session with students. Dr. Schneider's website is: http://stephenschneider.stanford.edu Space is available for two high school classes to join the conference as "interactive" participants (which involves participation in the Q&A session). Up to 12 additional classes may participate as "view only" sites. All participants must be able to connect to the Eastchester bridge using an IP connection.
