Program Details

Format

This is a conversation with a lot of interaction between the author and students. It is most helpful to students if they ask specific questions about the writing issues that they struggle with most.

Objectives

As a result of our programs students will:
Understand the many research resources available to them
Be inspired to apply what they’ve heard to their own writing
Have a heightened awareness of how to reach an audience through their writing.
Develop an appreciation of the many choices a writer makes in communicating.
See the possibilities in writing about the real world that goes well beyond reiterating information.
