Amelia Earhart flew through life with rare courage and unequaled conviction. Though her only ambition was to fly, those flights carried her beyond unexpected barriers--the barrier of gender, the barrier of airplane performance, the barrier of human dreams. One of these dreams brought her to an unlikely place--Ranger, Texas. On a sun-splashed afternoon in June of 1931, Amelia Earhart, one of the most celebrated aviators in history, landed a Pitcairn autogyro on Ranger's tiny airfield. In doing so, she made our town a part of her story, and from here she would go on to turn that story into the stuff of legend.

Between 1985 and 2005 the number of honey bee colonies across Ireland and the UK has plummeted by half. Albert Einstein speculated that if the Bee disappeared off the surface of the globe then Man would have only four years of life left. We will show why it is now time to act on behalf of he Honey Bee.
