About
November 12-16, 2007 is National Distance Learning Week (NDLW) and education organizations across America are organizing events in recognition of Distance Learning. Coinciding with this national event, the CILC Symposium, sanctioned by the USDLA, will host Distance Learning Leaders in Indianapolis November 13 and 14. A feature of the Symposium is a NDLW Award Luncheon on November 13 where a select few education leaders will be honored. Recipients of these awards will be selected based on the results of a vote to be held the first week in November.
Purpose
The purpose of these awards is to recognize exemplary use of videoconferencing (IVC) and/or other synchronous communications technologies to support and advance learning.
