  “I will train my faculty on what I learned in this workshop. Students will be able to access information from ANY computer (with the use of Google Docs); that will minimize the loss of homework. It will raise collaboration efforts between both students and teachers. Learning communities are fostered and nurtured only when learning takes place on all levels.“

  “I learned how to utilize programs for free that will enable our teachers to capture appropriate video clips at home and download them at school. These YouTube videos are blocked in our school district.“

Program Title: Storytelling: Empowering Children to Write and Tell Stories

  “My students enjoyed the storytelling part of the program. Ms. Marsh kept their attention and did a really good job of being personable with the students, down to remembering students’ names. I think her paper folding activities are a good way to motivate students to write.“

  “I liked the product piece of the activity. A lot of times it's hard to think of ways for students to publish writing in a way that is quick, BUT interesting to them. Her activities gave me lots of ideas.“
