Collaborative technologies allow you to access training sessions and interact with expert presenters from the convenience of your school.

  • Through videoconferencing, the presenter appears live on a video monitor at your setting, and real-time interaction allows active, "face-to-face’ dialogue with the instructor.
  • Webinars provide live, interactive presentations where you sit at your computer and connect to the presenter via the internet. Webinars offer you both visual and auditory access to the presenter and the information shared.

CILC is proud to highlight the following providers this month:

  • Bill Belsey, Bullying.org
  • Howie DiBlasi, Digital Journey
  • Dale Hilton, Cleveland Museum of Art
  • Lucienne Sharp, Touch the Sky
  • Kimberly Tyson, Learning Unlimited LLC

What others are saying
"I have been bombarded with excited comments about your video session. The kids thought it was a fantastic experience and highly recommended that we schedule you for several sessions next school year. I agree! Thank you again...it was great to give the students the opportunity to meet you and hear your presentation."

The Sheffield Museum of Rural Life
This provider preserves, studies, and teaches broad elements of rural heritage, with a specific focus on the history of the village of Sheffield, Ontario, and a wider focus on the medieval European background of North American rural culture.

Their first program, entitled Meet The Medieval Peasant, is a visit with an in-character peasant in his home in medieval England. The peasant will show the students artifacts, answer their questions, and teach them a dance from the middle ages with live music. Disciplines: Performing Arts, Social Studies/History, Writing

Brad Tassell
Author/Comedian Brad Tassell is the author of the award winning novel for teens and preteens on bullying, Don't Feed the Bully. He presents for students, teachers, administrators, and is a comedian for Carnival Cruise lines.

His program Don’t Feed the Bully presents a hilarious, magic, music filled program that engages as much as it teaches.

What Others are Saying
"I thought the meeting today with the other students was to die for funny. What you said in there was funny and true. My favorite character in the book was Kayla because she seems to me the one who brings out all the emotion in Handy that makes him so funny. As a girl, like most, I am incredibly shy. I’m afraid of what people will say about me and won’t want to be my friend. So, what you said today really helped me overcome that fear and for that I thank you." - Erin H. sixth grade student Discover Middle
