CILC Invited to Speak

Educause 2007
Elluminate, Inc., a leading global provider of web collaboration technologies, has invited Tonia Carriger, Director of Professional Development (PD) Services, to speak from the Exhibit Hall at the Educause Conference on October 25, 2007. Tonia, using the Elluminate platform from Indianapolis, will highlight the effectiveness of Elluminate for CILC. Spotlight Sessions for PD and the Virtual Meeting Room for Premium members both utilize this technology. Elluminate will also be supporting the Webcasting option at the CILC Symposium.

Microsoft Worldwide Innovative Teachers Forum
Julia Heighway Director of Content Services, and Monica Cougan, Director of Business Development, have been invited to present at the Microsoft Worldwide Innovative Teachers Forum in Helsinki, Finland on October 28, 2007. Julia and Monica’s presentation to this international audience will focus on building local and international communities, creating collaboration among educators and students, accessing content for the classroom, and challenging participants to be innovative in creating partners in learning.
