SIGIVC Forum Rocks!

SIGIVC is a special interest group within ISTE.
ISTE hosts NECC, an annual conference.
*See acronyms below

On June 26, 2007, SIGIVC held its first ever forum at NECC. Seventy-nine participated on-site and four other groups joined in from around the nation via videoconferencing. The highlight of the morning was the Speed Networking Session where eleven individuals each had 2 minutes to share about a successful program. At the end of two minutes the ‘gong’ went off and you were done! After this session participants had networking time to learn about the programs that interested them the most.

Here you can enjoy the one page descriptive overviews of each of the programs shared in the forum.

Be sure to plan on the attending the next SIGIVC Forum at NECC in San Antonio this summer! While you are registering, be sure to join SIGIVC.

SIGIVC Mission: To promote understanding of IVC and related virtual learning technologies within the K-12 education community by advancing collaboration, information dissemination, research, and practices.
