| Program Description | Wondering how to integrate interactive video conference technology in your curriculum? This introduction to videoconferencing in the classroom provides an overview of the resources and tools to help you use videoconferencing in your curriculum. Designed for teachers and videoconference coordinators, you'll network with participants, and learn about exciting sources of content and collaborative projects to engage your students. | |
| Program Format | This course is taught online via Moodle. Class assignments are posted in the discussion board. Participants are required to login regularly during the week. One assignment requires you to make a live videoconference connection with another class participant. (This assignment can be negotiated if you have trouble connecting or haven't yet acquired the equipment.) | |
| Objectives |
Participants will understand the educational research that supports videoconference technology in the core curriculum areas. Participants will explore multiple ways to find video conference content or programs suitable for their curriculum. Participants will consider reasons for kid-to-kid connections. |

The dates for 2009-2010 are: March 1-26, 2010. When registering please choose the start date of the session you would like to attend. | |

Registration is individual. The fee is for each person who participates in the online course. We need a work phone number and email address for each person who registers. Please do one program request for each person who will participate. If you choose to participate for graduate credit from Andrews University, Western Michigan University or Grand Valley University, tuition is additional. |
