Program Description   The Chemistry Demonstration focuses on the phase changes of matter. Students will see several live experiments that will explore these different phase changes with the help of liquid nitrogen. Examples include crushing a can without using your hands, making ice in less than thirty seconds, and taking away a balloons' elasticity.
Program Format   1. Introduction to the museum and demonstration.
2. Discussion on matter, atoms and molecules.
3. Experiment on how many balloons you can fit in a pot.
4. Explanation of liquid nitrogen.
5. Making ice in less than thirty seconds experiment and explanation.
6. Experiment and discussion on elasticity.
7. Crushing a can experiment and explanation.
8. Review on phase changes and other topics.
9. Conclusion and Farewell.
Objectives   Students will be able to:
- Explore different phase changes.
- Investigate the relationship between temperature and the interaction of molecules.
- Understand the definition of matter, atoms, and molecules.
- Engage in a discussion about Chemistry.
