About the Content Provider   Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump World Heritage Site is one of the oldest and best preserved buffalo jump sites in North America. We preserve, protect and interpret over 5000 years of human activity at a spectacular site overlooking the prairies and the Rocky Mountains of Southwest Alberta in Canada. Our award winning visitor centre interprets the Buffalo Hunting Culture of the Plains. We offer on-site education programs year round, as well as Videoconferences from October through April.

Minimum Technology Specifications for sites connecting to this provider   WE are on high speed Alberta Supernet but can communicate with most internet based sites via our Bridge services. Contact us for a test conneciton using an IP address. Most schools are able to dial in to our IP address but some gatekeeper procedures may be necessary to connect from certain sites.
