Program Description   Think you know everything about dolphins? Stay tuned as we expose the reality of these misunderstood marine mammals.

Program Format   * Basic mammalian and specfic dolphin anatomy and physiology.
* The resident dolphins of Brookfield Zoo and their life histories.
* Double Dolphin game featuring dolphin diets, behavior and communication.
* Wild dolphin research featuring the work of Dr. Randy Wells.
* Question and Answer featuring live video from our Dolphin and Whale Hospital.
Objectives   The students will be introduced to dolphin reality; dolphin anatomy and adaptations; dolphin society; dolphin behavior; dolphin research; and dolphin conservation. Students will learn the popular misconceptions about dolphins and why they are often misunderstood.

Program Fee Notes   Science programs are $155 USD. We invoice after successful delivery of each program. Payment is due in full upon receipt of the invoice. Checks should be made out to Mote Marine Laboratory, Inc.

A 1 1/2% late charge will be added thirty days after the invoice date. Non-payment will result in the denial of further registrations from your organization.

Cancellation Policy   Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to your confirmed videoconference time to avoid billing.

We recommend that you do a test call no later than five working days before your scheduled conference. Program fees will not be waived due to technical problems, unless reliably traced to a SeaTrek hardware malfunction.

In the event we have to cancel within 24 hours of your confirmed videoconference time, we may offer a rescheduled program at no charge.

The day of your conference, you may connect with us up to 10 minutes prior to the scheduled start time to ensure the quality of your service. However, you must connect with us no later than 15 minutes after your start time to avoid cancellation and billing.

Mote's dial-up numbers and testing protocols will be sent by email to the contact listed on the registration form.
