| Program Description | Are insects and birds able to pollinate the same plant? Why is pollination beneficial? For the answers to these and many other questions, join us as we investigate with the live specimens, study skins and models the cooperative relationship between pollinators and the plant kingdom. | |
| Program Format |
1. We examine the parts of a flower and the resulting variety. 2. We discuss why there is such variety. 3. We discuss what pollination is and the types of pollination. 4. We explore and discover different pollinators and the flowers that they are attracted to. 5. Time is allowed for questions and answers. |

The participant will: - identify the reproductive structures of a flowering plant - identify that plants have special needs - interpret variations in plant structure and relate to how plants have adapted to their environment - compare the needs of different pollinators |

| Cancellation Policy |
Minimum of 48 hours notice is required for all cancellations, excluding cancellations due to nature, i.e., school closed because of snow days. No cancellation fee will be assessed if you reschedule within two months of the original program date. If a program is cancelled with less than 48 hours notice, no refund will be given and a cancellation fee ($60) will be charged. |
