Format
Here is a brief list of topics explored during this program:
1.Discussion –characteristics of bison, how humans impacted the bison, etc.
2.Students will look at different examples of uses: skin, hide, organs, etc.
3.Student literature will be shared “Clever Coyote”
4.Interactive wrap-up game
Objectives
The participant will:
-understand the role of the bison during the 1800's
-explore different uses of the bison
-compare how the Native Americans met their needs to how we meet our needs
