Creek Mindfulness Moment: Students will observe a video of a creek and practice using their observation skills.
Stream Study: Students explore different measures that scientists use to monitor the health of a stream and will observe live macroinvertebrates.
Design a Stream: Students will design their own stream.

Objectives

Students will make observations and take measurements to determine the health
of a stream.

After designing their stream, students will be able to illustrate three major components to the health of a stream: temperature, dissolved oxygen, and macroinvertebrates.
