Format
1. This program begins with a discussion about the National Park Service "arrowhead" emblem.
2. Students will play 20 Questions using a map of NPS sites to determine which national park they will be talking about today
3. Participants then watch a short introductory video about Sleeping Bear Dunes.
4. Students will learn what makes Sleeping Bear Dunes special as a national park site in terms of geology, cultural history, recreation, and biodiversity
5. Students will explore what different kinds of rangers do at Sleeping Bear Dunes
6. Time is allowed for questions and answers.

• Name the elements of the NPS arrowhead and describe what they represent
• Understand that national parks and federal lands belong to everyone
• Know that most NPS sites have a junior ranger program they can complete
