Take a live tour of the current night sky! In this program we'll explore highlights of the current sky from Scorpius the Scorpion and the Milky Way in the summertime sky, to Orion and the birthplaces of stars in the winter. This includes bright stars and constellations, currently visible planets, and exciting deep sky objects like distant galaxies and nebulae. We'll also keep you up do date with the latest advances in astronomy including new data from missions in the Solar System to the newest discoveries from telescopes like the James Webb Space Telescope.Included in each program are sky maps for the next few months!

1. This program begins by watching the Sun set and viewing any planets in the western sky.2. We will then face north to find the big dipper and the north star.3. Then we will turn south to view seasonal stars and constellations. In addition we will explore other objects in the southern sky like galaxies, nebulae, and planets.4. We will turn east to view constellations rising that will be more visible in coming months.
The participant will:-Learn how to find the big dipper and north star.-See the locations of visible planets in the sky.-Identify seasonal stars and constellations.-Explore distant objects in the Universe like the Milky Way Galaxy, nebulae, and other galaxies.-Time is set aside for Q&A.
