1. Program will begin with an introduction of presenter and identifying where at the zoo we are broadcasting from.2. Participants will be shown video and phots of the zoo's past as they learn the history of the zoo.3. Participants will see both live camera shots and pre-recorded video of the zoo's current major attractions.4. Participants will be shown live camera shots and prerecorded footage of some of the behind the scenes areas of the zoo and will hear from keepers about how they do their jobs.Q&A will be allowed throughout the program but extra time will be saved at the end for questions from participants
The participant will:-explore the history of our zoo and understand how zoo's have changed over time to focus on animal care.-understand some of the different types of careers and trades that are needed to keep an accredited zoo running.-learn about the conservation work that most major zoo's participate in.
