Program Details

Format

The session is fully interactive and takes students through a series of Halloween-themed activities:

Halloween Freeze Dance – We kick things off with music and movement as students dance, freeze, and follow spooky variations to practice Spanish in action.

Ghost Hunt – Students watch a short video and count the ghosts they see, reinforcing numbers and vocabulary in Spanish.

Make the Potion – Using images of Halloween “ingredients,” students search their classroom to find the objects and help us build a magical potion together.

Scary Face Contest – To finish, students show off their most frightening (and funniest) “caras de miedo” in Spanish, competing for the spookiest expression.

Objectives

The participant will:

- engage in high-energy, Halloween-themed activities while learning and using Spanish vocabulary.

- identify and count Halloween characters and objects in Spanish during interactive games and videos.

- respond to Spanish instructions through movement-based activities such as dancing, freezing, and posing.

- collaborate with classmates to complete fun Spanish challenges and language-based tasks.

- express creativity and confidence by performing gestures, reactions, and facial expressions in Spanish.
