Longwood Gardens provides all of our virtual programs free of charge for K-12 schools to ensure our programs are accessible to all students.

Booking Information

You may register for our Fall season, which runs from September 8, 2026 through December 18, 2026. Virtual Programs are available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 8:00 am–4:00 pm ET and run for 30-45 minutes. Advance registration (at least one week before program date) is required. Submission of the request form does not confirm a program time. All program requests will be answered via email within three business days. If the requested date or time is not available an alternative date or time will be offered.

Please cancel programs at least 48 hours in advance. With the exception of inclement weather situations, schools that do not cancel in advance will be denied participation in other programming for that school year and possible future programs.

2. Introduction to Green Careers
3. Explore green careers
- Students choose categories to navigate
- Watch clips of interviews from Longwood staff and others
- Visit various places at Longwood Gardens
- Students self-reflect on each green career category
4. End with a question-and-answer session

Objectives

Students will explore the following essential questions:
- What do I think green careers are? Did my thinking change throughout the program?
- What green career(s) do my personal strengths and interests align with?
- How can I further explore green careers to support my career plan?
