Only A Memory

by  Lee Richardson Zoo

Program image

Dodo bird, Tasmanian wolf, and t-rex are just a few animals that are only a memory for this planet. We will look at, and discuss animals that still have a chance to be more than a picture in a book Threatened and endangered species are found over all parts of the globe. We will discuss challenges some of these animals face, and give you a chance to decide what you can do to make a difference.

The Lee Richardson Zoo's Distance Learning Studio offers a multitude of environmental programs to students all over the nation. Our programs always include 2-4 live animals. However, we are currently unable to give programs from actual exhibits around the zoo. If you would like to know which specific animals will be used in your program, please contact the Distance Learning Coordinator directly.
