3. Using cross sections, the functions and locations of organs are presented
4. A short segment about hygiene and hygiene products is included
5. Students learn that self respect is important and that asking questions of trusted adults is the best way to get answers
Objectives
Upon completion of this program the student will be able to:
1. Identify the role of the pituitary gland during puberty.
2. State the emotional changes that occur during puberty.
3. List secondary sexual characteristics that occur during puberty.
4. State two ways to cope with the emotional changes of puberty.
5. Label the organs of the reproductive system.
6. Match the reproductive organ with its function.
7. Define conception.
8. State that self-respect is important and may lead to abstinence.
