Venom is an adaptation used by animals for protection and hunting prey. Explore the Toledo Zoo's Hall of Venom in our natural history museum to see live examples of venomous animals in action. See snakes, insects, and other amazing creatures. All Toledo Zoo Programs include a live tour of an animal exhibit with a knowledgeable guide and time for interaction with participants.

Sites may wish to connect to The Toledo Zoo in a TEST call prior to the scheduled program. If no TEST call was made, the full fee will be charged to sites that cannot connect at program time. Programs must be cancelled 1 week prior to the program. Programs may be rescheduled.
The Toledo Zoo
Take a tour of exhibits at the Toledo Zoo to meet live animals in one of our interactive virtual programs! All programs include views of animal exhibits and up close animals as well as plenty of time for questions and answers with your knowledgeable zoo guides.
The program starts by exploring "misconceptions" about the animals.We learn some cool aspects/true facts about each animal.Students will be able to ask questions
Students will develop an appreciation for 3 species of animals that are traditionally "unloved".Students will be able to mention an adaptation of a venemous animal.
