from Saint Louis Zoo

Program image

One of the most exciting things at a zoo is when babies are born! In this program, we'll be introduced to some of the babies that have been born at the Saint Louis Zoo. We'll also learn special baby names, as well as how animals care for their babies.

Please note: This program discusses baby animals and due to the sensitive needs of these animals, we will be viewing videos of them. The live animals we meet will be ones that were born at the Zoo, but are now adults.

Saint Louis Zoo

St. Louis, MO
United States

We are making exciting changes to our education programs! While we are making our curriculum better, we will not be offering programming January through March 2019. While formal programs cannot be booked at this time, we invite you to visit our ZooTube page for some exciting video clips.

The Saint Louis Zoo was voted #1 Zoo in America by a Zagat's and Parents' Magazine survey. Our mission is to conserve animals and their habitats through animal management, research, recreation, and educational programs that encourage the support and enrich the experience of the public.

Our videoconferencing classes will introduce you and your students to a variety of animals and topics including: habitats, ecology, and adaptations. Older students will also learn about our conservation programs going on here at the Zoo and around the world.

Live animals from our Emerson Children's Zoo will visit our studio during the programs. At this time, we do not have the ability to broadcast remotely from Zoo exhibits.
