Format
1. This program begins by showing the students an example of the type of puppet they will be making-- a marionette
2. Students then participate in a discussion about how spiders and insects are different.
3. We do our first puppet building step.
4. Students participate in an interactive activity "Spider, Insect, or Neither?"
5. Students work on the second section of puppet
6. Students participate in an interactive activity about the lifecycle of a spider
7. Students work on the third section of the puppet
8. Students identify web builders vs. hunting spiders
9. Students finish the puppet.
