by  Creative Learning Factory

Program image

Museums offer unique educational opportunities that are engaging, creative, and innovative. But what does that mean for teachers? In this webinar, participants will discuss museum education and outreach from a teacher’s perspective, explore strategies for improving the “teacher experience,” and generate ideas on how to exceed teachers’ expectations before, during, and after they participate in programming.

Joy King is a Project Coordinator at the Ohio Historical Society who has taught at the high school level. Joy brings a unique perspective to this topic through her work in schools and at the Ohio Historical Society. Joy currently works on developing K-12 educational programming, program standards alignment, and is a contributor to Ohio as America, the Ohio Historical Society's 4th grade social studies etextbook.
