Format

1. This program begins with a short video familiarizing the audience with the location and mission of the Alaska Zoo.
2. Introduction to staff member and encounter animal(s).
3. Enrichment and Discussion- What is a muskox?
4. Discoveries with biofacts- Arctic survival experts!
5. Awesome Adaptations via photos/videos.
6. Time allowed for questions and answers.

Objectives

Through this program participants should be able to:
*List some muskox characteristics.
*Describe what makes a muskox an Arctic survivalist.
*Identify where they live and what they eat.
*Discuss various Arctic adaptations of muskox.
