Program Details

Format

1.Describing simple machines in common human situations. They’re everywhere! An interactive survey asking students to think about the physics around them today.
2.Describing the creative solution our great-great-grandparents used to overcome weight and size without using motors.
3. How we still use simple machines to increase the power of modern machinery.

Objectives

Students will recognize simple machines around them. They’ll become more confident in ways to multiply strength. They’ll recognize how we substitute gasoline and kerosene for simple methods.
