Objectives
Upon completion of this program, the student will be able to:
1. Identify the role of the pituitary gland during puberty.
2. Differentiate between the male and female skeletal structure and state the changes that occur during puberty.
3. Identify the structures of the female reproductive system.
4. Match the reproductive organ with its function.
5. Describe the cycle of menstruation and state its purpose.
6. List several secondary sexual characteristics that develop during puberty.
7. Define conception.
8. Name two good hygiene habits to begin practicing during puberty.
9. Identify supplies needed during menstruation and describe how to use them.
10. State that puberty is a normal process of growing up with physical and emotional changes.
11. State two ways to cope with the emotional changes of puberty.
