Songkran is Thailand’s New Year. Songkran is a very unique holiday that has become the largest water fight in the world. For three days (and up to five in some parts of the country), the people of Thailand celebrate the New Year by washing away the old in preparation for the New Year. Don’t forget your swimming gear, it’s going to be a wet one!
