Format
1. Author Valerie Marsh begins this program with the true story of Sir Isaac Newton. She will use objects created with tangram pieces to illustrate the story of how Issac dealt with a school bully and discovered gravity..
2. Students retell the story using their pre-cut tangram pieces to create art objects such as Issac, a school bully, school house, apple tree or apple.
3. Miss Liz the Science Wiz introduces the concept of gravity, matter, mass, distance, orbit, and center of gravity..
4. Students make predictions and then test them by using a paper apple.
5. Students are challenged to observe these physics concepts at home, on the playground, in their classroom, everywhere!
