Brush Your Teeth

Children learn about the many jobs their teeth have and how important their teeth are. Proper brushing, visiting the dentist, and choosing nutritious foods for healthy teeth are emphasized. Using a larger than life set of teeth, children practice brushing and choose which foods to feed “Mr. Big Mouth” and “Mr. Yuck Mouth.”

Schedule 5 of the same program on the same day and one will be free! For the UK, the fee is 98 British Pounds. Please include a purchase order number when you submit a reservation. Bridging fees will be paid by the customer. An invoice will be sent after successful delivery of each program. A 1.5% late charge will be added 30 days after the invoice date. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to your confirmed videoconference date to avoid billing. Payment is due in full upon receipt of the invoice. Checks should be made to McMillen Health in US Dollars. Non-payment will result in the denial of further registration from your organization.

Program Details

Format

1. Students name ways we use our teeth
2. Each tooth has its own job and students learn those jobs
3. Visiting dentist two times per year
4. Practicing brushing using a disposable toothbrush for 2 minutes and brushing at home two times per day are emphasized
5. Learning about healthy and unhealthy foods
6. Categorizing foods into healthy or unhealthy foods for our teeth based
7. Summarize care of teeth with the 2/2/2 rules

Objectives

1. State that they need to brush their teeth twice a day once in the morning and once at night.
2. State that they need to brush their teeth for two minutes each time to help prevent cavities.
3. Demonstrate proper brushing technique.
4. State that they should see a dentist twice a year.
5. Choose which foods help teeth and which foods hurt teeth.
