from Author Valerie Marsh

Program image

Celebrate winter holidays around the world and learn about their special stories, food, symbols and candles. Enjoy a paper-cutting story about the seven principles of Kwanzaa and the cookie cutters of Hanukkah! Draw a star along with Valerie as we tell the story of the journey of Las Posadas. Learn the sign language for "We Wish You A Merry Christmas! A Happy Kwanzaa! A Joyous Hanukkah, and A Happy Las Posadas!" Your students will be hands-on involved with all our stories. Our goal? We want every student to appreciate all the celebrations and retell our stories to someone at home. What a great learning experience and confidence booster for your students!
Please Note: We can modify this program to focus on a certain holiday. For example, Los Posadas.
