Program Details

Format

1) Show Introduction
2) The presenter will facilitate the first discussion topic or experience.
3) The presenter will open and facilitate a round of Q&A.
4) Repeat 2&3 until all topics have been exhausted or time expires.
5) In-show quiz (i.e., GEOquiz) using Quizizz
5) Wrap-up

VFT Topics:
1.) Virtual tour of the Brooklyn Bridge
2.) Suspension bridge design
3.) Construction of the Brooklyn Bridge

Objectives

-Students will experience a virtual walk across the Brooklyn Bridge.
-Students will be able to identify the components of a suspension bridge.
-Students will be introduced to John and Washington Roebling.
-Students will be able to explain what a caisson is used for.
