Program Details

Format

1. Program begins with introductions to Royal BC Museum and presenters, .
2. Educator/presenter guides the participants through the gallery, stopping at points of interest (displays and objects) that are key to the history of BC.
3. Time is allowed for questions and answers throughout and at the end

Objectives

The learner will:

Explore British Columbia’s path to becoming part of Canada
Learn about the role of the gold rush
Consider the growth of communities and why they develop where they do
