Our geography focus expands to a global scale as we explore the world's eight biomes, looking at the plants and animals that inhabit those environments. In our geology section we will learn about sedimentary, igneous and metamorphic rock types. Our palaeontology section provides an opportunity to see real fossils up close. Objectives

The participants will:

- Identify the 3 rock types
- Learn about different fossil types
- Understand how Alberta's fossils have shaped palaeontology
