Program Details

Format

1. This program begins with a story about vultures from a folktale
2. We then discuss the world's vulture species
3. We then discuss the dangers and problems vultures are facing
4. We learn about our local vultures
5. We meet a real Turkey Vulture
6. We listen to a fun song about Turkey Vultures
7. Time is allowed for questions and answers

Objectives

The participant will:
- develop an appreciation for vultures
- understand the role of vultures in the environment
- list 4 dangers that vultures face across the globe
-learn about efforts to conserve vultures
