Program Details

Format

The program begins with an exploration of the design behind the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum exterior and interior. After establishing a definition of design, specific artifacts from the museum collection are detailed and specific design jobs and designers are explained. The program culminates in students creating their own unique works of art after discussing design elements, brainstorming, and sketching together.

Objectives

The student will: learn more about country music and the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum; understand the purpose of design and learn the biographies of key design jobs; meet a visual artists who guides them through an art project.
