2021 Homeschool Day dates and themes:

January 6 - Dazzling Designs: This interactive virtual program highlights country designers, instrument makers, and engineers. By studying key objects and their details, students review design concepts, learn about personal expression and symbolism, and discover American and country music history. The culminating activity has students create their own unique work of art.

February 3 - STEAM: Science of Sound at Historic RCA Studio B: This interactive virtual program shares the story of Nashville's oldest operating recording studio and plays songs recorded there by artists like Dolly Parton, Charley Pride, and Elvis Presley. Students will also learn about jobs in the recording studio and how the space was shaped by soundwave properties like reflection, refraction, and absorption.

March 3 - Music-making program: DETAILS COMING SOON!

April 7 - Is it a Fiddle or Violin? This interactive virtual program is led by a professional musician who helps students compare and contrast the fiddle and the violin. Full of toe-tapping music and fascinating world history, this program was developed as a partnership between the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum and the Schermerhorn Symphony Center, Nashville.
