Nutrition & Fitness - Balancing Act (GR 9-12)

by  Byrnes Health Education

Program image

Navigating the nutritional maze certainly can be a Balancing Act of calories/nutrients in versus out. This program is designed for older adolescent (high school) students who are becoming increasingly independent every day. As students are beginning to prepare to launch into adulthood, this program is designed to provide them with insight on nutritional guidelines that can help them continue a healthy path through life. Stress, and the emotions that come with it, are identified as key factors in nutritional choices/habits.
